Aims and scope

The journal publishes original and high-quality studies which disseminate scientific economic research findings. The papers submitted for publication may be theoretical, empirical or experimental-applied.

The range of topics includes:

  • Macro and microeconomics, economic policy, public and international policy, environmental policy;
  • finance, banking, insurance;
  • accounting and auditing;
  • management, marketing, tourism, trade and services;
  • business information systems;
  • statistics, econometrics, quantitative methods in economics;
  • other areas of scientific research in economics.

Open access:

Annales Universitatis Apulensis series Oeconomica is an open access journal and a valuable scientific resource. Articles published are freely available online to researchers, practitioners, students and other categories of users.

Publication frequency:

The journal is being published twice a year and the issuing months are June and December.

Reviewing Process:

The review process is a double-blind one; the members of the editorial board will make an initial assessment, assigning the reviewers with proper expertise for a thorough analysis.

Two members of the international scientific committee will be simultaneously doing the reviewing.

The reviewing process will last for 60 days usually.

Consequently, the authors will be informed about the status of their submission: accept, accept with minor revision, accept with major revision or reject.

As an outcome of this process the authors are invited to continue it in order to be published, either to join the waiting list for publication or to eventually improve their paper and continue the reviewing process. Only articles accepted by the scientific committee will be published.

Report Generator:

The system generates reports that track the details associated with site usage and submissions over a given period of time. Reports are generated in CSV format which requires a spreadsheet application to view.

Indexing and abstracting:

The journal is indexed and/or abstracted in the following international databases:
